Wild Week in Washington

What a wild and wacky past week it has been in DC to say the least bit. There were situations that involved spirits that wanted to cause a commontion of becoming weak just to be overcome by the enemy. How amazing to recognize the energy that people carry and that can be transfered over to someone else easily. In life we all have to stay strong so that we can not be overcome by the enemy that wants to cause turmoil and rather have everyone fight each other. I find it amazing all the energy that people were carrying just leading up to the Mrs. Carter tour.

This is how it is in every situation and scenario that plays out I am realizing. The key is to take a look outside of yourself when someone may threaten you or is evidently in bad spirits and you ask your self do I take the high road or just decide to be bad or let the negative energy transfer to you. I recently went through a situation like this that someone had the audacity to get mad at me because I had my legs cross and maybe that day just was not there's, so I ignored the bad spirit and meditate on this situation. Of course the wild intent of that someone passed and the energy must have been strong that the energy passed on to another causing commontion. I saw clear as day how people could let bad spirits take over them to disturb all the other passengers and of course I had to get off of that bus like many others. I felt threatened on the bus and well to the point that I wanted to get away from the person next to me but the bottom line is that I did get away from the confusion. Lesson from all of this as I reflect that God does work in mysterious ways and if we pay attention we really do have a lot to be thankful for.

From my wild and wacky week I am reminded that we can choose if we react with sugar or with more spice; but you really have to be prepared for all the possible outcomes that may feel bad or feel good. All of the past events including me undulging myself on some good eats has lead me up to my fast for major cleansing that is needed.

I have eaten lamb from one of my favorite spots to Lemon Pepper Catfish and Peach Cobbler from BSmith's. The last week of July has led up to my final choice in fasting with only drinking juices, smoothies and water to nourish my body.
Three tries to get things right, that's how my luck works out @ The Coupe and in life.

No more lamb, or seafood and vegetation for my cleanse.

Natural look for such a wicked week in Washington

Perfection

All photos were taken by me and I am looking forward to August as a chance to shed some pounds from consuming so many toxins.

Think Pink

Love that Nars tinted moisturizer in Medium 2 ( perfect for my tan skin)

Oh and how you liking my hair and blush?

What a week and I love Wet-N-Wild's lipstick in Think Pink because it is like cotton candy with the smoothness and effect gives my lips or anyone else's. Originally I was recording so that I could build up to demonstrating putting on the lipcolor, because I know people find lipstick application amusing. However, forces beyond my control would not allow me to finish recording. Just like the sun can be draining to people it didn't help the juice in my batteries. I was only able to record three takes and my panoramic view before my batteries went completely dead. The lesson learned from all of this is that the best filming times are early in the morning and later in the evening.

Color of the Day-Sugar Plum Fairy

Got to love this Black Radiance which is like Sugar Plum from the Candyland game

Natural Cleansing and Antiseptic

I  love tea tree oil because of all the benefits and the fact that it can be categorized as natural antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial & fungicide. In case you do not know what a Antiseptic is, here you go: a substance that inhibits the growth and development of microorganisms without necessarily killing them. Tea tree oil comes from the Australian Melaleuca tree which is grown mainly in Australia. Idefinitely reccommend the product below which comes from the Desert Essence line with many products to choose from.

Back has a list of ingredients

Also, another great brand is Seba Med which has products for everyone's skin and hair needs. I love the liquid face and body wash for Sensitive Skin because wherever there is skin this can be applied. Most cleansers or for the face only or the body but this can be applied all over which knocks ou two birds with one stone.

Perfect Cut

My first time getting a hair cut from the barbershop was not that much of a bad experience considering that my hair does have a mind of her own. She has been through a lot, really dying and than risen to come back to life. My perfect haircut is really giving me life and is the greatest length for all the high temperatures recently.

What do you think? Yes there will be a video posted to update on the maintenance of this afro.

American Manicure

It has been awhile since I treated myself to a manicure since I usually do it myself, but I had to try the American Manicure which is similar to the French manicure. Also, I received a paraffin wax which left the skin on my hands feeling super moisturized and is a beauty experience that everyone should experience at least once.

Paraffin wax is completely safe and can be eaten since this is a item sold in grovery stores and used for cooking. Here you can check out how to give yourself a paraffin wax treatment.

Before my polish was applied both of my hands were dipped in the wax three times and covered with a plastic bag to sit on there for about four minutes.

Not my photo

My skin is rejuvenated and very silky.

Alchemy

The latest book I have gotten into which I have heard about and even seen others reading has gone overlooked by me until now. The book is definitely interesting and I look forward to receiving the message to be received from the story.

On the music side of things I love this song by "Alchemist" because life is quite a amazing journey with different strokes for different folks. Seeing a smile on someone's face definitely makes life more brighter. The magic of life is fufilling yor purpose while being able to be happy and enjoy oneself despite all the bulls#&t. Not only is Chemical Warfare going on, but spiritual as well and I love how this song came out before I moved up to the DC-Maryland-Virginia metropolitan area. Maybe life is all about finding our own treasure and making sure to leave some of the booty we found for others to enjoy and remember a solid legacy.

24/7 Freshness

Yes thank God that I am fresh and the fact it is Friday as well. This entry was really meant for my wellness Wednesdays but now is the perfect time to share in my great experience of discovering The Coupe located in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of DC. I was looking for a good place to eat at any day of the week and this is like a upscale diner that feels compfortable as though you could be at home.

I looked at the menu and was amazed how everything was perfect for me to taste and try. Really I wanted to start of light so I just gravitated to the soups, salads and sides. The main dish for me was the Cucumber Salad and what really caught me was the ingredients of pickled Watermelon. I decided on the Mac & Cheese because I knew that something warm would be good but the best of that night was the Cucumber Salad with Red onion, jalapeño, mint, cilantro, tomato and yogurt brûlée which was so good. Overall, the ingredients are fresh and full enjoyment is guarenteed. Oh, and this is a kid friendly place because they also have movie nights on Mondays which I might catch sometime.

A week later and I am sharing my wonderful experience that was completely natural feeling and I had no make-up on what so ever, only a moisturizer.

Color of the Day

For the past couple of days it has been raining since monday which is good to cleanse the and refresh the Earth. I am loving the rain and how it can be cool or fall down when things feel steamy and humid. Oh how the weather outside can seem frightful with the thunder and lightening; but I say "let it rain, let it rain and  let it rain."

Revlon Colorstay in Rainforest is amazing and this is my first time wearing it and how right for a Friday. The polish is such a great hue and lays on thick so two coats should be the maximum and then a top coat which is optional.

Coral Oasis

For the Fourth of July I decided on red lips and one of my favorites is NYX Matte lipstick in Alabama. Also , I wore Maybelline Coral Oasis eyeshadow for the first time which was a fun and warm palette. Oh and I am fully aware of the fact that my eyebrows need a shape up but I am loving my fuller look when I fill them in with a Taupe eyebow/eyeliner pencil.

Hope everyone's Fourth of July was great because I was turned up from the start of the day and yes I saw some fireworks. All day was hot and I tried to keep looking cool well into the evening all though it was 90 degrees plus.

This shade can look different in various lights

Always Sunny

For the look I was going for a warm and neutral feel. I decided to use MAC Pro Longwear eyeshadow in "Always Sunny" as my bronzer and blush. Since I wanted to keep things natural I was not wearing eyeliner only eyeshadow and mascara. I absolutely love how great my face looks from my gloss to eyebrows.

Oh and on a side note, if you have not noticed my aura is real and you can see it in this video if you pay attention, and look closely.

Here is a good explanation of this which perfectly describes me and my connection to my surroundings on a emotional level. Oh yes feelings are everything and I can feel what is going on with animals which includes humans. Just a hint I love alley cats and have a extra tenderness to those who may have been in foster care because I love those the most who can appreciate what others take for granted.

Purple Aura:

Purple Aura people are highly psychic, attuned to the emotions and moods of others and very sensitive. People who have a predominant amount of purple in their Aura are seen as mysterious and secretive.
The Purple Aura individual possesses a philosophical, enquiring and intuitive mind. They love to learn and never stop exploring and enquiring into new subjects and areas that interest them. Because this they tend to be extremely interesting and knowledgeable people.
The Purple Aura individual does not have a wide circle of many friends. But the friends they do have are held close and are respected, admired and loved. People with a predominant purple Aura tend to be unlucky in love but once they have found their perfect soul mate is loyal and loving for life.
Purple Aura people connect well with animals and nature. They are attuned to animals and can sense their emotions and feelings. Purple Aura people tend to take in and care for strays as their loving and caring nature makes it difficult for them to turn strays away.
