Seven

As I go on through life's journey I have realized that you can not really expect everyone to be happy and have joy in their heart. Also, something that has caused harm previously because I let my guards down while loving my enemies too much. But now I am happy to know that God has realized that it is good to love your enemies but when they keep askin for a butt-kicking or have really had the intent of destroying you than finally you have to say no more at all.

How amazing or some type of power to give back what the enemy deserves from them feeding you poison disguised as lies. I am very blessed and thankful to recognize the evil that is and has forever been going on and than knowing what needs to be done to get rid of the enemy.

In chapter 7 of "Demon Proofing Prayers" by Bob Larson I learned the true essence of myself which is being a giver and very thankful to realize I have been "Outgiving the Enemy" all of my lifetime. Oh my darlings, I am just amazed when I realize all that God has blessed me with and recognizing what life is all about, which is the life lesson in Chapter 7: Be a Giver, Not a Taker.

Anways, I want to show love and give love until it hurts because that is exactly what is right for my soul, those who need it the most are strangers and enemies both alike. Darlings, now is the time for me to give the good fight and stand up and shout with all my soul along with my spirit, " I am not going to take whatever the enemy is giving me but I am am going to give them more of what they deserve!"

Now to the significance of 7 because people bring up the number and have questions when they see my "7" charm around my neck. For all of those who have common sense or know a little about religion than "The 7 Deadly Sins" may come to mind and than there is a more in-depth perspective from the Bible..

For a more spiritual and well-rounded perspective "7" signifies:

Seven:
One of my personal favorite lucky numbers, seven is auspicious in matters of scholarly achievement. Seven is also associated with spiritual, psychic and intellectual development. It's the number of wisdom and higher reasoning. Seven is also a time-bound energy, it often signals good timing when seen in sequences. For example, if you see a series of seven in your day (on the clock, on bus tickets, license plates, room numbers, etc.) it often indicates good timing for scholarly/spiritual endeavors.

Than when it comes to Numerology.... 7 is...

The number seven is so great to me because it took me seven years just to get my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Urban Studies after taking a break and just enjoying life. You know what is the best about finishing what I started is that I kept on when many doubted me and the enemy told me to quit. After all my time spent in school I realized that we all can be teachers and the best one that has taught me comes from my life experiences. You know in life you just have to know that no matter all the evil going on and at work trying to stop you from acheiving. The best thing and only way to glory and love is to keep on going, and presevering despite the enemy.

Darlings, only be the grace of God have I made it this far and things are only starting to get fired up on the spiritual battles to come. Thank You for the Truth and sweetness in all the humans I have crossed paths with and righteous souls. I will continue to meditate and pray that what is started will be finished and fully completed for goodness sake.

Also, with some more of my research I realize that their are seven rays of light or color in a rainbow which also can represent the 7 Archangels.

  • Blue: Michael, leader of all the holy angels
  • Yellow: Jophiel, the angel of beautiful thoughts
  • Pink: Chamuel, the angel of peaceful relationships
  • White: Gabriel, the angel of revelation
  • Green: Raphael, the angel of healing
  • Red: Uriel, the angel of wisdom
    • Purple: Zadkiel, the angel of mercy

The constant in my life and prayer that I repeat often is that the "Lord have Mercy on my Soul and my enemies". The great thing about this is that my prayer is always answered and I am motivated to forgive the weak ones who know not what they do.

    Nurturing Sprouts

I always have a story to tale and that is only because life is simply amazing and when you stick close to nature you can not go wrong. Recently I planted seven cucumber seeds exactly a week ago on August the 20th and today transfered them to a bigger pot. Out of the seven seeds four of them sprouted which is amazing because around the same time I planted those cucumber seeds a cat around the way gave birth to four kittens. You know it is such a blessing to know when the ultimate creator reveals themself and to realize that. I have the four plants sprout to nurture and take care so I can enjoy the harvest of cucumbers. Then the momma cat has her four kittens to nurture that I will have to check on sometime. How amazing it is to explore and nature and have the power to help things grow to their full potential. Could it be the Heavenly Kingdom has revealed to me that we all have the need and power to nurture all the little sprouts in the Animal and Plant Kingdoms.

The whole lesson of this tale is that if you want something done right than you have to do it for yourself. These means growing your own produce because you know that it was grown with good intentions and no extra foolishness is going into the sprouts.

    Growing nicely

Enjoying the beauty of trees the day that I met with the kittens

    Day 21

The month is almost over but that will not stop me from continuing to challenge myself when it comes to having the correct diet. If you decide to try this out for yourself than you should learn nothing more than what is really means to be disciplined because so many people are addicted to sugars and salts when it comes to the foods they choose to eat.

Just a few of the choices

Oh and I meant "sticking to my guns"  although chewing gum is my addiction.

    Look of the Day:Smooth Operator

So..... since I am having technical difficulties I might as well let everyone bask in the glory that is my beauty, all thanks and praises to my heavenly God!

Anyways the look of the day is all about being a smooth operator.... oh and of course men are not the only ones who can getaway with having smooth  ways.

Always, have to keep your look smooth...

    Good Terms: Massage

I always get asked if I do full body massages when I tell people what I do, but really I am not a massage therapist, I am a Esthetician. However, being a graduate from The Aveda Institute the curriculum does  involve all the benefits of Massage not only for the face but with the body as well. I do foot, neck, facial, back, arms and hand massages.

Touch is so important and when we feel contact on our skin that is stimulating and gentle than blood pressure can be lowered. When it comes to a Facial Massage the main benefits are  improving the muscular tissue of the face, lowering blood pressure, increase blood circulation, purifies skin and removes waste from the tissue and stimulates the lymphatic system.

    1. Endorphins: Proteins with potent pain-reducing properties that occur naturally in the brain.

    2. Blood pressure: Pressure exerted by the blood upon blood vessel walls, which indicate an individual's health.

    3. Cortisol: A stress hormone secreted to bolster the immune system.

    4. Norepinephrine: A neurotransmitter that enhances alertness in times of stress.

    5. Vagus nerve: The major communications link from the brain stem to the organs in the neck, throat, chest and abdomen.

When it comes to a body massage most of the benefits occur in the Musculoskeletal System of course which helps with:

    • Increasing metabolism
    • Reduces spasm, tension and cramping
    • helps muscles recover more quickly from exertion and fatigue.
    • improve muscle tone and prevent the delay of muscular atrophy resulting from inactivity
    • Increase joint range of motion
    • Releases tight muscles and tendons
    • Increases ease and efficiency of movement

In the Circulatory System the benefits are:

    • Decreases pain due to chemical irritation of free nerve endings from reducing lack of blood.
    • Increases nutrition of tissues and the number of red blood cells in circulation.
    • Helps facilitate tissue healing
    In the Digestive/Excretory Systems:

    • Increases the excretion of fluids and waste products of protein metabolism, inorganic phosphorus through the kidneys.
    • Can reduce cramping or spasm in the digestive tract and ease elimination of the colon by improving tone.
    • Supports healthy digestion through relaxation and stress reduction
    In the Lymphatic System:

    • Increases the lymphatic flow as well as the tissue fluid
    •  Enhances the immune and filtering activities of the lymphatic system
The effects of the Mental/Emotional state are great for anyone's well-being:

    • Improvement in clarity and alertness
    • Reduces anxiety
    • Facilitate emotional release and reduction in general stress levels
    • Promotes general feeling of well-being
    In the Nervous System:

    • Reduce nerve root compression
    • Decreases nerve entrapment through the release of soft tissue or muscular binding
    • Helps balance the autonomic nervous system
    • Stimulates touch, pressure and proprioceptive receptors of the skin and underlying tissues.
One of the most important is Respiratory System:

    • Deepens and normalizes the breathing rate through relaxation
    • Can assist in the relief of congestion in the lungs through percussive and compressive movements
    • Releases tension in the breathing structures, both in the rib cage as well as the breathing muscles
Than for the Skin and Connective Tissue:

    • Assist with the metabolic balance in muscle tissue
    • Enhances suppleness and elasticity
    • Improves the surface skin circulation and pliability of the fascia
    • Increases the sebaceous gland excretions
    • Moisturizes the skin with good massage oils
    • Removes dead skin
    • Reduces tension in the skin and adjoining tissues
    • Stimulates sensory receptors

All of the photos are not mines and not only can adults enjoy massages but babies, kids and everything in between.

    Nice Frames

One of my favorite parts of the face and a woman's natural beauty is always the eyebrows for me. The best set of frames any lady can have is very full eyebrows which just makes for a more youthful and carefree appearance. The thing about having really nice frames is that thee arch is not over dramatized or almost doesn't exist.

To make my eyebrows more bolder I used Black Opal lipliner pencil in 'Black Cherry" to go with my new hair color.

Other examples of very full eyebrows that I love which shows the beauty of nice frames at their finest.

The most fullest and fairest eyebrows I have viewed in my life

    Natural Cleansing and Antiseptic

I  love tea tree oil because of all the benefits and the fact that it can be categorized as natural antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial & fungicide. In case you do not know what a Antiseptic is, here you go: a substance that inhibits the growth and development of microorganisms without necessarily killing them. Tea tree oil comes from the Australian Melaleuca tree which is grown mainly in Australia. Idefinitely reccommend the product below which comes from the Desert Essence line with many products to choose from.

Back has a list of ingredients

Also, another great brand is Seba Med which has products for everyone's skin and hair needs. I love the liquid face and body wash for Sensitive Skin because wherever there is skin this can be applied. Most cleansers or for the face only or the body but this can be applied all over which knocks ou two birds with one stone.

    Smoothing the Scalp-STS

Smoothing and soothing the hair scalp is important and what I love, especially for a scalp as sneaky as mines. I got rid of some old, and dry skin though clarification and deep exfoliation.

I used two different shampoos for my hair and one great cleanser. I was able to scrub off some dead skin on on my nose and between my eyebrows from a few clogged hair follicles. I could easily see the scales of dry skin on my face but I was happy to discover the skin on top of my head. Well this is not the year of the snake for nothing.

scaly skin removed from a good shampoo

These shampoos work wonders and are very therapeutic and of course you should know that you are always worthy of good cleansing and clarification. All of these products I used are highly recommended and can be used once a week.

    T to the second power

Today was definitely a traumatizing Tuesday from my experience at lunch which was not a pleasant surprise. From all the choices of places to eat I chose Tara Thai because of course Thai food is one of my favorites and this was my first time at this particular Thai place. I had to go with the Gaeng Jae which was the first on the Vegetarian part of the menu and very good, but the unfortunate thing is that there was a bug in my glass of water. Yeah, not that much of something to be excited but that is my surprise and luckily there was not bug in my plate but than again how is anyone to know that there are traces of critters in their food when they eat out.

I am not trying to knock Tara Thai or anything, I just have to lay off of Thai food and stick to the fruits and veggie infused snacks and meals. If there is a any type of place to go and get a good vegetarian meal that would be a Thai restaurant or Indian. Perhaps this is a lesson that it is time to pay more attention to what I want and what is good for me. Really that is what we all must do, or maybe just a deeper philosophical look at life. " When you view life as having a glass half full there can be more bugs or maybe I wasn't looking into anything at all. After the tears I come to realize you can not let a bug take away your joy.

Besides from being traumatized I will get back to the beauty of skin, nails and hair some other time. For the first time I wore Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free in Translucent Light which leaves the complexion smooth and pretty. Although, my natural complexion is more tan I like the way the skin appears like a porcelain doll and this powder is made especially for sensitive skin. As cute and perfect porcelain dolls are they still are pretty creepy with those glass eyes just staring at you (yes these dolls are the cause for some trauma and the name of this phobia can be found here.) Bugs, Dolls and Dummies, oh my!.....they can be scary if they somehow learn to takeover or present themselves.

On my nails is Dior nail polish in Safari Beige.

Out with the old, in with the new

It was about that time and the feel is summertime, so I had to freshen things up. Since things are getting hotter it only made since to upgrade to a case or holder that is much more lightweight compared to the case I had before.  There are many designs to choose from in the size of the beauty case I had from SOHO but there is also the larger "professional" cases which you can view here.

When it comes to applying make-up as well as carrying the products it is best to keep things light.

    From the Spring 2013 collection

    Squeaky Clean

For June 2, 2013 I had fun while cleaning my make-up brushes in a new way. Usually I would stick to hot water and hand soap, or shampoo as well as alcohol. Now I have found the key to really disinfecting my brushes at a more powerful level, this come from using 3% Hydrogen Peroxide which has so many uses.

This is the main brand of brushes I use

When it comes to cleaning Hydrogen Peroxide works like bleach except it is not as harsh. Really this is a miracle liquid that has no strong nasty odor and it can also be used as mouthwash to whiten teach besides removing stains from white clothing. So the different ways that you can use Hydrogen Peroxide are found here as well as on this page.
