Two to Six

For April 22, 2013, Earth Day and April 26, 2013 which was Arbor Day I was involved in so many different festivities which was wonderful to meet new people and learn more. Started off things right with the Garden Guy, Derek Thomas whose work can be viewed here. I learned that Cilantro seeds are what makes Coriander and that was great to know because I love Cilantro. Multi- Media artist Julee Dickerson-Thompson made taught me how to make stick dolls which was fun, and my doll stood up on her own. Magenta yarn for her hair, a hot glue gun, stapler, needle, thread and intricate designed fabric has made my stick doll very profound. The last week in April was all about education, exercising muscles, creativity and plenty of good eating.

After the conclusion of both days I had a filling dinner at the House of Prayer for All People which just reopened their kitchen January 2013 and the soul food is delicious.

Tints

I performed another eyebrow tint and until I perfect that service than I will be doing it free of charge for anyone interested. At school I use the Intensive brand but when it comes to house calls I use the tinting kits from Godefroy for eyebrows. For the eyelash tinting that will be for special requests only with appointments made at least four days in advance.

I do eyelash tinting and love doing eyebrow tinting because of the amazing results. If anyone is interested in have me host a "Tinting" party than let me know. Contact email is buymyartwork@aol.com and there is so much to look forward to.

My Earth Month

This has been a great month thus far and next week is going to be filled with plenty of fun things ahead to do.
For those who do not get out enough or enjoy the surroundings of the natural environment then check out the   Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum for Earth Day and Arbor Day from 11 am to 3 pm for celebrating this month. The exact location is 1901 Fort Place SE Washington, DC 20020 and check this out for more details of what is going on with this museum.

Other places that DC offer to enjoy plenty of trees and fresh air are the National Arboretum and the bike trails throughout DC.

Diamond

At one point I wanted to become a Diamontologist, but it never is too late and back to the subject of....

Diamond is the strongest gemstone that comes from the Earth and can only be smoothed by another diamond. To not be that large in size, Diamonds are harder than steel and stronger than granite. Made of pure carbon, crystallized by intense heat and pressure in the earth's interior and forced to the surface by volcanic eruption, Diamonds can be found in Australia, Angola, Botswana, South Africa and other areas .Find out more about Diamonds on Geology.com

I love diamonds not only because of how they glimmer but because of their strength.

Wax On...Wax Off.

What is the meaning of all this mess that has been caused with me getting worked up into...all for the sake of beauty. Really waxing is not my thing at all because I don't like seeing anyone in pain and let's face it waxing can be a painful service. I had a day of waxing only in my recent class and of course I am always humbled and shall remain that way. Only two guests but I know I put my all or at least my dedication into their services and how nice that both guests were new to Washington, D.C. I have only done waxing on the face which includes the eyebrows, lips, chin and sideburns so doing the body was a new learning experience. Working on my application technique is of importance when it comes to my speed. Waxing has some nice results but the process is sort of exhaustive and takes some getting used to for someone that has been described by others using a big word like condescending

The whole purpose is to transform when it comes to waxing which I have been going through spiritually up to this point. My spirit has been exfoliated like wax naturally does to skin when ripped off and meditating will soothe my soul and spirit like tea tree oil does for the raw skin.

Despite my need for improvement when it comes to waxing the body below the decollete I will remain in the wonders of my own world while revisiting Chapter 18: Hair Removal.

What a day that lied ahead.

What you looking at?

I am a rare breed not that many can get like me.

Okay I'm ready for whatever and that means walk-ins with my eyebrows kind of uneven.
