Since I am in a reflecting moment I will go back to August 10th when I celebrated the finale of a art gallery in the Anacostia community of DC while getting one of the best shows from GlitterLust. The lead singer was making my night with his glittery boots... Anyways, I am back and proud to embrace my creativity as well as others to realize that the artist in me needs to come alive once again and that means... I will paint more and find a way for people to enjoy my customized shirts as much as I do. Although I will not most likely ever be a size 0 or small again I can have something that people of all sizes and skintones can appreciate.
Ready for some art besides the masterpiece that is me
All natural with my colorful kinky hair...
No flash--notice my Odwalla juice in my arm
Flash
Sitting down and more than enough jelly to go around...
flashing lights and.....
Glitter Lust!
These boots had me infatuated
My skinnier days with slicker and unnatural hair too....
The look for the start of the week was all about being dazzling and shimmery. I attended the first Blues Monday concert for the month of June with Avon Dews performing at landmark Westminster Church in SW DC. My outfit was bright enough that I did not have to be extreme with my make-up. Of course my eyes was the main focus and just a little blush along with some lip gloss worked out fine, with the mascara being left out.
Dazzling outfit

Just a little concealer and blush
Enjoying the Blues, step out of line and I'm going to give you the Blues.
So recently I made a acting debut of some sorts in a wonderful artist and barber's music video, Rico Jerome. What I love about most of his songs is that there is a message or story being told. Rico Jerome is a joy to work with and his expressions are always poetic. This is a great time for the editing to be done right before National Poetry Month. I like to think that all of my content is appropriate for all ages and maturity levels although some of the images in this video can be semi-explicit, the songs touch on issues involving health. "Nocturnal Emissions" has to do with mental health among freely expressing sexuality. Of course sex is a natural part of life and has been scientifically proven as very beneficial to health when all safety precautions are taken. This is a link to 10 Benefits of Sex and don't get me wrong, I am not promoting the act. This is only natural and medical knowledge that should be known to mankind.
As a Esthetician matters of health are very important and I believe honesty is the best policy and Rico Jerome is honest in music which is what I love. You can find me in the second half of the video which is a story of a man who has been working hard, but very excited to come back to his lady who misses him so much that she is tired of waiting for his late arrival. (Oh and how you loving my epidermis and make-up?)
